Planning your wedding

Putting together a wedding is a huge undertaking. We know. We’ve played at hundreds of them, and some of us have even planned our own. We will make the music planning easy and fun for you so that you can focus on all of the other details. We’re happy to share tips and ideas from past experiences so that we can make everything as easy as possible. We’ll let you know what needs to be done, and when it needs to be done by. We’ll also help you stay on track to make sure it gets done. Here are some ideas for wedding music:

Ceremonies – Classical piano is a great option for ceremonies. We can also have an instrumentalist or vocalist play with our pianist if you’d like. Not sure what kind of music you want for your ceremony? Ask us. We can give you all kinds of song ideas from traditional, to not-so-traditional selections.

Cocktail Hours – There are lots of options for your cocktail hour. Do something simple, like a solo classical or jazz pianist. Add a bit more… How about a jazz combo, or a small R&B/Soul band to lay down some mellow grooves and smooth vocals for your guests to enjoy? Want something bigger? Try some Latin dance music, or big band jazz. Or, maybe you’d like our cover / dance bands to play some Sinatra-styled tunes for you.

Reception – Our party / dance bands are the most popular choice for dance music. You’ll get one hit right after another from these bands, and they’ll cover everything from Motown up to today’s dance club music. Looking for something different? How about some Big Band Swing or Latin music with a dance lesson to help get your guests out on the dance floor?
