Planning your wedding
At Kazz Music, we specialize in providing music for every aspect of your wedding day. Through our services, we can make sure that you have music for your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception party after dinner. Since we are promoting our very own bands that we actually direct and perform with, we are able to eliminate the agency fees that you might encounter if you booked your musicians elsewhere, which helps save you money. Furthermore, since many of the musicians we work with play in more than one of the groups that we promote, if you book us for multiple aspects of your wedding, we can use the same musicians and save you even more money! Here are some suggestions as to how we might be able to serve you on your wedding day:
Ceremonies – Our pianist/organist, Andrea Shaut, has extensive experience playing at wedding ceremonies throughout Central New York and Eastern New York. She is well-versed in all of the standard wedding repertoire and we can easily add a trumpet player, clarinet player, vocalist, flute player, or any other instrumentalists that you would like to enhance the music for your ceremony.
Cocktail Hours – We offer several ensembles that work well as groups for performances prior to your wedding dinner. This is typically a time that you would like music to be more of a background enhancement as opposed to the center of your guests’ attention. At Kazz Music, we have several options that work very well in this situation.
Reception – After dinner is typically when the music takes center stage for your guests’ entertainment. Our groups specialize in playing the requested music for the Bride & Groom’s first dance, as well as their respective dances with their parents. We can also light up the night for hours of dancing as well. Here’s some of our recommendations:
If you have something else in mind than what we have recommended here, please feel free to contact us at Kazz Music and we will be more than happy to work with you to come up with music that meets the needs of your special wedding day.
